Petrie – Shanks Member Benefit Fund
This discretionary fund is for people who are current Service Members of Stepping Stones and is underpinned by the donations we receive from the wider public and community groups. Taking a Cash First approach, our Service Members can access up to £50 to help with a short term financial crisis, or remove barriers to access our services. The fund does not replace the existing support available through our local money and citizens advice centres, the Scottish Welfare Fund and other discretionary supports. The fund is named after two of our longstanding (now retired) Chairpersons of the Board, (Morag Petrie and Jackie Shanks).
The fund is available to our service members only and can be accessed by speaking with a staff member.
